Thanks to the direct connection to the A40, A42 and A52 highways, the ICE train station in Essen and the Düsseldorf and Dortmund airports, the Grand Hall is centrally located in the heart of the Ruhr metropolis. This makes it easy to reach BRANDmania - whether by car, train or plane.

Arrival by car

The Grand Hall ZOLLVEREIN is located on the site of the former Zollverein coking plant. The Grand Hall Zollverein can be reached via Arendahls Wiese. Various parking facilities are available on site.

Directly in front of the hall is the VIP parking lot, where you can park for 39 euros. You can buy tickets for this in the ticket store.

In addition, the Zollverein parking deck is about 8 minutes' walk away.

Please note: Here you can only pay with an EC card.

Trucks and sprinters can park in parking lot C, which is free of charge. From there it is a 15-minute walk to the Grand Hall.

Arrival by bus & train

 

You can also get to the Grand Hall Zollverein quickly by public transport.

There are several options from Essen main station:

Tram 107 (direction Gelsenkirchen Hbf)
To the Zollverein stop, then approx. 20 minutes on foot via Fritz-Schupp-Allee and Heinrich-Imig-Straße.
Or:
At the Essen Nikolausstraße stop, change to bus 183 in the direction of Essen Karlsplatz and get off at the Kokerei Zollverein stop. From there, it is approx. 550 m (approx. 7 minutes) on foot via Heinrich-Imig-Straße. Alternatively, you can get off at the Essen Etterbach stop and walk for approx. 7 minutes (500 m) along Kokereiallee.

U11 (direction Gelsenkirchen Buerer Str.) or U17 (direction Essen Karlsplatz)
To Essen Altenessen Bf, then change to bus 183 direction Essen Katernberger Markt. Get off at the bus stop Essen Backwinkelstraße (approx. 9 minutes on foot, 700 m via Großwesterkamp), Essen Etterbach (approx. 7 minutes on foot, 500 m via Kokereiallee) or Kokerei Zollverein (approx. 7 minutes on foot, 550 m via Heinrich-Imig-Straße).

Tram 108 (direction Essen Altenessen Bf)
To Essen Altenessen Bf, then change to bus 183 direction Essen Katernberger Markt. Get off at the bus stop Essen Backwinkelstraße (approx. 9 minutes on foot, 700 m via Großwesterkamp), Essen Etterbach (approx. 7 minutes on foot, 500 m via Kokereiallee) or Kokerei Zollverein (approx. 7 minutes on foot, 550 m via Heinrich-Imig-Straße).

From Gelsenkirchen main station:

RE3 (direction Düsseldorf Hbf)
To Essen Altenessen Bf, then take bus 183 direction Essen Katernberger Markt. Get off at the bus stop Essen Backwinkelstraße (approx. 9 minutes on foot, 700 m via Großwesterkamp), Essen Etterbach (approx. 7 minutes on foot, 500 m via Kokereiallee) or Kokerei Zollverein (approx. 7 minutes on foot, 550 m via Heinrich-Imig-Straße).

RB32 (direction Duisburg Hbf) or RB35 (direction Oberhausen Hbf)
To Essen Zollverein Nord. From there it is approx. 20 minutes on foot (1.4 km) via Arendahls Wiese to the Grand Hall.

Tram 107 (direction Essen Hbf)
To the Zollverein stop, then approx. 20 minutes on foot via Fritz-Schupp-Allee and Heinrich-Imig-Straße.
Or:

Arrival by plane

The nearest airport is Düsseldorf Airport (DUS). From there you can easily get to the Grand Hall Zollverein, e.g. with the RE3 in the direction of Hamm(Westf) to Essen-Altenessen station, then continue with bus 183 as described under Bus & Train.

Cabs, Uber or Bolt can also take you from the airport to your destination.
